Consultation fees & costs
Dr Stavy’s functional medicine consultations start from £200. Holistic GP and homeopathy consultations start from £100. These are starting fees for the consultation, with tests and supplements charged separately. Ask the practice to confirm the fee for your chosen appointment and any extras before you commit.
What are the published fees?

A “from” price is a starting fee. It does not set the total cost of every appointment or of ongoing care. The private-prescription charges are listed separately so you can distinguish them from the consultation starting prices.
If you need a follow-up or a remote consultation, ask the practice for the fee that applies. The list above does not specify a price or duration for every appointment type. A general enquiry is a useful way to check the details before requesting a time.
What may be charged separately?
Tests and supplements are additional to the consultation fee. External suppliers may be involved, and prescription delivery may carry a separate charge. Ask which items are included in your quoted cost and which will be invoiced separately.
The prescription fees shown above should not be read as the price of every medicine. If you are arranging a private prescription, ask about the consultation or repeat fee, the medicine itself and any delivery charge. These are different parts of the cost.
Before an additional item is ordered, check its price and how payment will be made. Tests, prescriptions and supplements are paid for before ordering.
Why is there no single package price?
Dr Stavy’s published pricing takes the view that one package does not fit everyone. A consultation and any additional tests or supplements are therefore priced as separate parts of care. This is why the starting consultation fee should not be treated as a total budget for all possible next steps.
You can ask for the price of the appointment you want now, then consider any further costs when they are discussed. There is no need to infer a total from a list of services or assume that every listed item will be part of your care.
How does payment work?
The practice confirms bookings by email and then sends an invoice. Payment is due before the consultation, using the bank details on the invoice. Check the details of the appointment and the charge before paying.
If you plan to claim through private medical insurance, check your policy with your insurer first. Coverage or reimbursement cannot be assumed from the fact that an appointment is private.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange?
Give at least 48 hours’ notice by email to info@drstavy.com. For a Monday appointment, notice is required by 2pm on Friday. These timings are taken from the practice’s published policy.

Questions before you decide
Are tests included in the consultation fee?
Tests and supplements are charged separately from the consultation. The published starting fee is not an all-inclusive testing package. Ask about the cost of any proposed test and any related follow-up before agreeing to it. The fee for your own appointment can be confirmed with the practice.
Why does the price say “from”?
The published figures are starting fees. Dr Stavy’s pricing information explains that one package does not fit everyone, so the total depends on the consultation and any separately charged items. A starting price is not a quote for a course of care. Ask for the cost that applies to your request.
When do I pay for an appointment?
Once the practice confirms your booking by email, an invoice follows. Payment is due before the consultation, using the bank details on that invoice. Tests, prescriptions and supplements are also paid for before they are ordered. An appointment request on its own does not complete the booking or payment process.
Can I use private medical insurance?
Check your own policy with your insurer before booking. Cover depends on the insurer, policy and service, so the published fee list is not a promise of reimbursement. If your insurer needs details of a proposed appointment, ask the practice for the information needed to check your cover.
